What data we process

When you email or call, we receive your name, contact details, your company’s name and what you tell us about your project. From clients we also need billing details.

The site has no forms, cookies or visitor tracking. Fonts, images and scripts load from this site, not from other companies’ servers.

Why and on what basis

We use the data to reply to enquiries, prepare offers and carry out the agreed work. The basis is the preparation and performance of a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

We keep billing details because the Finnish Accounting Act requires it (Article 6(1)(c)).

How long we keep data

We delete enquiries that do not lead to a project within two years. Messages from client projects are kept for the duration of the project and two years after.

Accounting records are kept as the Accounting Act requires: vouchers for six years and financial statements for ten years from the end of the financial year.

Who receives the data

We do not sell data or hand it over for marketing. Data passes only through the email and accounting services we use in our work.

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process visitors’ IP addresses for the security of the service. GitHub is a US company and describes its processing in its own privacy statement.

Your rights

You can ask to see your data, correct it or delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it. You can also object to processing or ask for it to be restricted. Send your request by email and we will reply within a month.

If you think we process your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland (tietosuoja.fi).

Concept work

The companies on the project pages are fictional, and their sites are concept work. Their forms do not send data anywhere.
