ConceptKeljon Puusepät is a fictional company. I built the site to show what a joinery’s website can do.

Starting point
Keljon Puusepät is a five-person joinery in Keljo, Jyväskylä. It makes made-to-measure kitchens and wardrobes from birch plywood and solid wood and installs them itself, with a delivery time of 8–10 weeks.
Finnish joineries’ sites usually have a slogan and an image carousel but not a single price. Someone planning a kitchen wants to know first what it costs and when it can be ready.

Solution
The backbone of the site is a numbered kitchen register. Every job has a number, a place, a year and the actual price, and the same number is burned into the sink cabinet for servicing. The prices page has a table by kitchen length, a calculator and one kitchen itemised line by line. The identity has two main colours, light birch and dark oak, and one type family in two widths.

What the site does
- A price range before the callA price table by kitchen length and a calculator answer the most common question.
- Enquiries arrive at the right timeDelivery time and the next free workshop slot are visible, so clients know to book in time.
- The work serves after installation tooThe numbered kitchen register and care instructions help the client years later.
Build
- Name, K logo, colours and typography
- Numbered kitchen register and archive since 2016
- Price table, calculator and one itemised kitchen
- Care instructions, guarantee and payment instalments
On a phone the very first view shows the delivery time and the price range, and the bottom of the menu has the workshop’s phone number and the quote request.
