Lauha Talotekniikka

Lauha is a fictional 14-person HVAC company in Tampere. It installs heat pumps in oil- and electric-heated houses and does pipe renovations for housing companies.

One site has two very different clients. A homeowner wants to know how much they will save and whether the pump copes with frost. In a housing company the board decides, but the residents live in the middle of the renovation and are its harshest critics.

The front page opens with a house on a winter evening and two doors: to the detached house and to the housing company. The logo’s line rises and falls like the outdoor temperature and levels out into indoor warmth, and the same idea appears as a chart: Tampere’s temperatures over the year and a copper line at 21 degrees. Homeowners get three systems with prices and a savings calculator with the 60% household tax credit for replacing oil. Housing companies get a method comparison and a stairwell card that shows residents every day. Typography is Familjen Grotesk in frost, granite and winter night tones.
